NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. – The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center is pleased to announce a groundbreaking ceremony for the new location of its McHenry Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 16.

The current McHenry Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is located at 620 South Route 31 in McHenry and serves about 3,300 Veteran patients with primary health care, mental health care, and many Telehealth services.

The new clinic will be located at 3715 W. Municipal Dr. in McHenry. The new location will accommodate a larger clinic that will serve more Veteran patients. It will have improved waiting areas, more exam rooms, and additional space for group clinics, support groups and expanded Telehealth services.

“We are very excited about this new location, as we feel the expanded space allows us to continue to grow and meet the ever-expanding medical needs of our McHenry-area Veterans,” said Navy Cmdr. Kathaleen Smith, associate director for primary care services at Lovell FHCC.
