Lovell FHCC to cut ribbon on expanded McHenry Outpatient Clinic for Veterans on Friday, May 8

Jim Lovell and U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren to help celebrate expansion of services and medical care for McHenry-area Veterans

More space will equate to more services for more Veteran patients of Lovell Federal Health Care Center when the new McHenry, Ill., Community Based Outpatient Clinic opens at a new location this week.
Jim Lovell, Apollo 13 astronaut and the facility’s namesake,  U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren of McHenry, Ill., and McHenry Mayor Susan Low will join patients of the clinic, FHCC Navy and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) leadership, FHCC staff, volunteers and community members to cut the ribbon on the new space at 1 p.m., May 8.
Nearly 3,600 Veterans use the McHenry Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).  The new, larger clinic will be over 9,000 square feet, serve more Veterans and will add new services such as audiology. It will continue to offer services like primary care, women’s health services, social work, mental health, telehealth, and phlebotomy.
