Lovell FHCC to hold Caregiver Resource Fair for family caregivers of Veterans, military members

NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. – The Lovell Federal Health Care Center Caregiver Support Program will host a Caregiver Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon, Nov. 4, at the North Chicago facility. The public is invited to attend.

We honor and value the many family caregivers who provide loving and unwavering support for our Veteran and active duty military patients. The fair will provide information to caregivers about available resources, and it will educate staff, volunteers and others about the role caregivers play in treatment and recovery of Lovell FHCC patients.

Caregiver resources include support groups at the Lovell FHCC main campus in North Chicago, as well as at the McHenry Community Based Outpatient Clinic.

Many community agencies will be in attendance, including the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Alzheimer's Association. For more information, contact Pam Rosentreter, Lovell FHCC Caregiver Support Coordinator, at 224-610-3472.

The fair will be in the first floor lobby and on the second floor crosswalk at the valet parking entrance, Building 133EF, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago, Ill. Parking is available in the parking garage, or patients may use the free valet parking.
